Year In Review and More!

year in reviewACEC-NH has achieved a great deal for our members since the summer of 2018. We have accomplished the following:

Our Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) Program/Competition continues to be very successful, and more of our firms are taking advantage of ACEC National Benefits.

Last but not least, thanks to our Public Relations committee, ACEC-NH has a brand new website! In addition, the committee has vastly improved our Social Media and other PR efforts around the EEA and E-Week.

Our Board of Directors is beginning its annual review of the Council and will be announcing new programs in the coming weeks. On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank all our members for your great support of ACEC-NH over the last year.

Allison Pratt ACEC-NH recently presented a scholarship of $2,500 to Allison Pratt to assist her in pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Allison is the daughter of Keith Pratt, President of member firm Underwood Engineers.
Allison recently completed her second year on the D1 women’s cross country and track teams. In addition, she recently accepted a river shadowing position at the NH Department of Environmental Services. Pratt is also involved in the Sunrise movement, a youth effort to combat climate change.
On behalf of the entire membership of ACEC-NH we congratulate Allison and wish her well in the upcoming school year.
Over the past 10 years, ACEC-NH has distributed over $40,000 in awards to children of member firm employees.
This committee had a very successful year of collaboration with this important agency. A planning and organizational meeting was held earlier this month. You can view the current list of topics here. The Committee’s next meeting is scheduled for September 20.
